The year 2022 is different compared to the last two years.
I still couldn’t believe that the limited places we went for the last two years were home, workplace, or shops to get the necessities. I think I had gotten to know my home very well, in a way, for the first time.
Am I complaining? Nope. I was grateful and am still thankful that there’s a place I could stay indoors while combating the viruses. Even though I consider myself a homebody, there were still times I thought I had gone mad for not going out for days consecutively.
As I was writing this blog post, I tried to recall how I (and we) went through such an extreme global situation. But to my surprise, I can’t really remember much at the moment. Well, it could be due to heat or exhaustion.
Or, it could also be the restrictions that have already been lifted gradually in many places since the beginning of this year. We are kind of back to the “normal” way of living. We can now travel as and when we like.

I didn’t know much about it until I was abroad. The way they celebrate is very much different from ours. We have a similar celebration in Chinese culture. I’m not quite sure if we should call it a festive season or a celebration. But, we do have certain taboos we should follow/avoid.
Anyway, back to Halloween. This is a day that has been celebrated for many years. With all the candy and pumpkins, what could be better?
Halloween is also a day when many people like to dress up in costumes and go trick or treating! If you’re a kid or an adult, you can find a costume and go trick or treating for the day!
Whether you are celebrating Halloween for the first time or are just looking for an excuse to dress up in a costume, there are many ways to celebrate! One of the easiest ways is to hang a Halloween banner at the home, office, or even party venue!
The party banner is designed in landscape format and consists of two letters sharing one letter-size paper.
Once you download the Halloween banner printable, cut the paper in half and also cut out the triangle shape at the bottom, and voila, you’ve got a done-for-you Happy Halloween banner printable!
The only thing you need to DIY is to string up each letter or use washi tape to paste them on the mantel, wall, door, staircase, cabinet or even kitchen counter!
How To Make Easy Halloween Decorations?
Step 1: Get the free printable Happy Halloween banner here
Step 2: Once you download it, the pictures below show what they look like before cutting. The designs were made on letter-size paper but printed on A4-size paper.
I printed them at a local stationery shop. The colors on the screen and the final printouts are slightly different. Plus, the white borders appeared on all sides of the paper. If you prefer borderless printing, you may check if your printer has such a function. Alternatively, you may have it printed at a professional printing shop. They should be able to help you print without showing the white borders.
Step 3: Cut the white borders
Step 4: Use washi tape to stick the banner on the wall, cabinet, etc!
How to use the digital washi tape?
If you have a blog, website, social media platform, online shop, you may use the digital washi tape to create your banners/pictures or use it to create a call to action button. In other words, you can use these washi tapes as part of the display item if you want as shown below and see more samples here.
